Assistant Accountant - Commercial Construction

Exciting opportunity to work for a commercial construction company who have established themselves as a major player in the civil and build sector over the past 15 years.

Working closely with the CFO, this is a brilliant opportunity to work in as part of great team, continuing to develop your skill set.

Duties will include, but not be limited to;

  • Processing supplier and subcontractor payments
  • Financial reporting
  • Process payroll and superannuation payments
  • Preparation of BAS
  • Assist CFO with budget and forecast reports
  • Balance sheet and GL reconciliations

To be successful in this role, you will have several years’ experience in a full function accounts position, and ideally have worked in the Construction industry. Tertiary qualification and a general passion for finance sought after. Advanced MS Office (particularly Excel) and knowledge of project software such as Jobpac, Timberline, CHEOPS advantageous.
