JOB DESCRIPTION
Geelong flyer transport are seeking an experienced forklift driver for morning shift located in dandenong south. 3 month probation on full time rates with potential of going full time. we work with steel and timber and all kinds of other freight. must know how to use chains and dogs and straps and ratchets.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Salary: $24.00 – $25.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
- Overtime
Supplementary Pay:
- Overtime pay
Experience:
- forklift operator: 1 year (Preferred)
Licence:
- Australian driver's licence (Preferred)
- order picking forklift truck (LO class) (Preferred)
- forklift truck (LF Class) (Preferred)
Work Eligibility:
- Permitted to work permanently with no restriction on hours (e.g. citizen, permanent resident) (Preferred)
Job Duties:
- Load and unload trucks
- Move and stack materials
- Spot semi-trailers
- General housekeeping duties in the warehouse or production area and duties as assigned
- Follow forklift operating guidelines and procedures
