We have an extensive portfolio of projects, delivering large and complex solutions, including terminal expansions, engineering procurement, tank and bridge construction and remediation projects.
We have a great opportunity for Riggers and Boilermaker Welders to join our Port Pirie based project team on a tank construction project. You will play a critical role in the safe and timely completion of structural, piping and cone roof assemblies in new tank construction. We are looking for local candidates as there are no FIFO positions or LAFHA available.
We are keen to talk to you if you have:
Boilermaker/Welders
Trade qualified boilermaker (Australian recognised)
Experience in tank construction and/or maintenance is highly desirable
Proficient in tig SMAW and FCAW with ability to pass ASME standard xray tests - 2G & 3G
Welding tickets (highly regarded)
Have a good understanding of engineering drawings.
Tank plate, nozzle and steelwork experience highly regarded
Riggers
Intermediate high-risk work license - Rigging
Basic or Intermediate high-risk work license - Scaffolding (highly regarded)
High-risk work license - WP, DG or EWP (highly regarded)
Willingness to complete T/A and Dogman duties
All Positions:
Previous tank maintenance and/or construction experience will be highly regarded
5 + Heavy industry site experience
Construction Industry Induction
Valid Driver’s License
Safe work at heights ticket (2 yr validity)
Confined space ticket (2 yr validity)
The ability to work within a team and unsupervised
Be physically fit and capable to complete manual tasks - the role may involve manual lifting, bending, squatting, and kneeling
High safety and quality standards
Excellent communication and time management skills
Ability to complete a pre-employment medical including a drug & alcohol test
Willingness to be clean shaven as per site requirement
Proof of right to work in Australia - please provide a valid passport (along with visa if applicable) or birth certificate
