This company is a global EPC contractor and project developer specialising in wind farm and solar farm construction around the world. They pride themselves on delivering innovative and efficient projects, securing repeat business with a large costumer base of developers, IPP,s and large industrial's.

Reporting to the Project Manager, the Construction Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, management, OHS and success of all on-site construction activities.

• Lead the site team including internal staff and subcontractors
• Define site safety practices and protocols in alignment with standards and ensure safety procedures are followed and work site is safe for all employees, customers, subcontractors and the public.
• Monitor project schedule, ensuring project milestones and deadlines are met.
• Coordinate various trades and work fronts on site to maximise productivity and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
• Establish and maintain relationships with the customer and internal partners and operate a site that is focused on customer delight.
• Provide senior management with accurate and timely progress reports.
• Conduct quality inspections during construction to ensure compliance with plans and specifications.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant corporate policies and programs.

• Extensive experience working on solar farms or relatable projects
• Previous experience working on mine sites
• Leadership of site based subcontractors and employees that has resulted in a highly aligned, motivated and engaged team. 
• Ability to establish good working relationships with customer and stakeholders
• Experience with mentoring and managing performance of site based team
• Previous accountability for budgeting and cost management. 
• Strong computer skills
• Valid driver's license, passport and ability to travel as needed to meet business objectives
