We are currently seeking applications for a permanent General Mill Worker with Rigger/Scaffolder capabilities to join the Integrated Work Management team located in the Burdekin region at Pioneer Mill.
**Applicants can be experienced with Intermediate/Advanced qualifications, or willing to learn, with Wilmar providing all necessary training to the preferred candidate. **
The main responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Providing scaffolding and rigging services primarily throughout the Burdekin Region with the possibility to assist across northern & southern regions if required
- Being responsible for ensuring the register of equipment is up to date
- The allocation, storage, checking, maintenance and testing of the team's equipment is of prime importance
- Completion of check sheets, service and cleaning of equipment
- Reporting of equipment faults and damage/incidents
Selection Criteria will include the following -
- An excellent understanding of their responsibilities with regard to the Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental Acts
- A commitment to our safe operation and safe maintenance initiatives
- Be able to provide regular and accurate feedback on work to be completed
- Ability to work in a small team unsupervised with changing priorities
- Adapt to and support ongoing change, as well as undertake any further training as required
- Self-motivated and organised
- Committed and proactive to achieving safety goals
- A willingness and ability to acquire new skills and/or qualifications if required by the job
- Good communication, planning and decision-making skills will be highly regarded
- Abide by and communicate Wilmar's policies, procedures and values

- Intermediate/Advanced Rigger
- Intermediate/Advanced Scaffolding
- Forklift
- EWP
- Common User Competencies (MEM18:55A)
- Mobile Crane
- Dogger's Ticket
- Overhead Crane
