Large upcoming new projects - We are looking for Leading Hand Riggers to run crews/sites to assist with the installation of structural steel columns and beams. You will be working on site along with boilermakers and other trades to complete installs of prefabricated Steel work. You will be required to have experience with structural steel erection, preferably on commercial construction sites (apartment buildings, shopping centres, stadiums etc).

• Day shift 7am to 3pm + OT if required
• 38+ hours p/w
• Competitive Hourly Rate - Pending Experience
• Jobs are located all around Melbourne. Mainly Inner Melbourne & North West Location,
• Own basic tools, Own Transport, PPE - Hi Vis, Steel Caps
• Potential for longevity

Applicants must possess the following:

• High Risk RI/RA ticket
• Experience fabricating and installing structural steel
• Experience leading crews
• Dogger / Rigger ticket - Advantage
• Boom Lift ticket (High risk WP or EWP BL)
• Own Basic Steel Erection Tools
• Construction White Card
• Strong communication skills
• Must be able to read drawings and site plans
• Must have the ability to understand and carry out site set out

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Salary: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
