The HSE Systems Coordinator is accountable for the overall management and administration of the HSE management system, including the provision of day-to-day support to the project teams for effective implementation. The role reports into the HSEQ Manager and is also responsible for.


Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and improve HSE systems in accordance with legislative requirements.
  • Review, and update as required corporate policies, procedures, and guidance notes, ensuring best practice and currency.
  • Work in conjunction with the HSE Committee and the Group Manager to execute and implement the HSE system and training.
  • Provide updates to and implement changes from the Group HSE Committee
  • Assisting in the development and execution of HSE project initiatives.
  • Educate, provide support, and seek feedback from project teams regarding the HSE Management System.
  • Assist the HSE team with operational and technical HSE matters as and when required.
  • Implement systems changes resulting from HSE Operations
  • Assist with implementing group initiatives and special projects, for example (HSE Risk Management Framework, Subcontractor Prequalification, Behaviour Based Training).


Qualifications & Experience:

  • HSE system experience essential
  • 6 years plus experience in safety, ideally you will have experience from the operation and corporate systems.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Safety or equivalent practical experience.
  • Knowledge of OHS legislation and regulation in QLD and it would be advantageous if you have had exposure to NSW and VIC.
