The company:

Our client is a leading Australian electrical distribution company for retail and commercial markets in Australia. We are seeking an experienced day shift Storeperson/ Forklift Driver who must have experience on a High Reach and counterbalance to join their warehouse team based at Wacol.

The Position:

Reporting to the Warehouse Supervisor you must be able to demonstrate the following attributes:

Adherence to all safety processes and procedures

  • Unpacking Import Containers
  • Packing Export Containers.
  • Transferring bulk storage RM
  • Housekeeping including 5S.
  • Observe and promote SHEQ.
  • Participate in Stock takes/Cycle counts.
  • Heavy lifting
  • local product deleivery

The Person:

To be successful in this position you will have:

High regard/strong commitment to SHEQ & Customer Service

Experience in similar environment preferred (exposure to WH&D, Stores, Customer Service activities, Experience with current warehouse management systems and technology)

Forklift License

High initiative and proactive with good rapport and ability to work with multi-functions

Exposure to Manual Handling

Certificate in warehouse operations an advantage

Manual licence required
