Best suited to a motivated individual that has proven experience in loading multiple trailers of general freight per night, we are looking for a candidate who has an interest in developing their career within the transport industry.
The Job:
- Working Monday to Friday approx 3pm to 1am
- Efficiently load and unload general freight, able to ensure correct weight distribution and work to achieve a high levels of consolidation even with ugly freight
- Some manual handling of parcel freight ensuring all freight is treated with care ensuring zero damages
- Palletising carton freight and accurately checking of weights ready for loading
- Ensuring all item labels correctly are double checked to eliminate freight misdirects and loss of efficiency
- Hold a current Forklift Licence (LF) with proven experience efficiently loading and unloading multiple vehicle per shift
- A team player who is willing to provide support to the wider team
- A strong level of communication and problem-solving coupled with the ability to work within a fast-paced, high pressure environment
- Have a passion for going the extra mile to provide high level service to all our customers
