About the client

Our client is a leading concrete manufacturer based in Western Sydney. They operate a 24/7 plant and pride themselves on providing high quality concrete products to the civil construction industry.

About the role

• Excellent pay rate: $38.55 per hour inclusive of penalties and casual loading
• Afternoon shift, Mon to Friday (starting at 1pm)
• Safe Loading / unloading and securing pre-cast concrete products on heavy vehicles
• Assisting with safely storing pre-cast concrete products across the plant
• Adhering to strict safety procedures
• Basic manual handling
• Recording information into computer when required
• Dispatching products
• Housekeeping of area to ensure safe operations
• Understanding of Chain of Responsibility
• Assisting other areas of the plant as required

About you

• Forklift experience with current license preferred (5-10 tonne machine)
• Front End Loader experience and license preferred
• Tipping Control experience preferred
• Work background in transport and logistics an advantage
• Strong focus on safety
• Ability to perform manual lifting tasks
• Good numerical and computer skills
• Own vehicle essential
• Can-do work ethic
• Team player
• Good communication skills and English is essential
