Working for a major international wholesaler and distributor, this is an opportunity for an experienced storeperson to join a fast paced team. This role is an opportunity for someone aspiring to lead a team and has a range of responsibilities including:

• Managing the in and outflow of stock through the warehouse
• Picking and packing of orders
• Unloading and palletizing of orders
• Monitoring imports to ensure effective scheduling of dispatches
• Preparing documentation for dispatches including packing slips
• Use of forklifts and other handling equipment
• Management of warehouse to ensure operating efficiency and maximum utilisation of space
• Quality control
• Maintain a clean warehouse and risk minimisation

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate the following:

• Forklift license (high reach)
• Comfort working with manual processes and documentation
• Ability to work independently and effectively
• Ability to train junior staff

Job Types: Full-time, Casual, Permanent

Salary: $28.00 per hour

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday

Experience:

• forklift operator: 1 year (Preferred)
• Warehousing: 2 years (Preferred)
