Fruit Master Farm Operations Pty Ltd are a national table grape producer and marketer. Our facility in Robinvale Victoria 3549 requires a full time, qualified diesel mechanic. The applicant will be responsible for servicing our fleet of tractors, processing equipment and trucks.

Salary is $55,000-$70,000 per annum.

The applicant should have a formal qualification and at least 2 years full time work experience in an industrial or agriculture setting. The applicant must be committed to working in regional Victoria.

The applicant will be responsible for the following tasks:

• Discussing problems with operators to determine faults
• Diagnosis of faults
• Repair and servicing of cooling systems, fuel systems, air conditioning, emission control systems, transmissions and clutch assemblies
• Repair of ignition, electronic management and electrical systems
• Diagnose, overhaul, repair, tune and test diesel powered heavy vehicles
• Detect mechanical and electrical faults using industry standard instruments and equipment
• Repair and maintain hydraulic components and systems of heavy equipment
• Safely operate a variety of hand and power tools associated with their trade
• Utilise maintenance manuals and procedures to perform repairs and maintenance to required standards
• Record and report all repairs and maintenance activities on the established documentation
