Job Description

Our client, An Australian premier organisation is seeking a Machine Operator Assistant and or individual who is willing to be trained and work as a Machine Operator.

Based in Northern Suburbs, the role is offering Casual, 40 Hours per week guaranteed with view to become Full-time after 3 Months.

Machine Operator Assistant - Immediate Start!!!

Duties & Responsibilities include but not limited to:

· Support machine operator.

· Operating roll handlers and lifting equipment.

· Mixing adhesives.

· Wrapping, Packing, Palletising and Labelling.

· Cleaning and organising production areas.

· Check machines to ensure proper working condition.

· Reset machines in cases of malfunctions and clear any jams.

· Prepare plastic rolls for production.

· Unload finished rolls and ensure that they conform to standards.

· Inspect and remove defective items or those that do not meet standard.

Skills and attributes:

· Basic MS Office Suite skills required for entering data into basic spreadsheets.

· Commitment to the Company safety standards, values and vision of company.

· Effective problem solving and communication skills.

· Must have a good mechanical aptitude and numeracy.

· Trouble shoot minor tasks with awareness and attention to detail.

· Able to work in a team, fit in and willingness to learn and follow instructions.

· Able to comply with Company OH&S standards.

· Forklift license and forklift experience preferred.

· Australian Citizen or Permanent Resident must.
