JOB DESCRIPTION
The Construction Adviser is a small firm specialising in building defect inspection and reporting as well as providing building design solutions.
As Such We Require a Candidate With The Following
- Local Structural Engineering Degree, preference for masters.
- Local experience working closely with Codes and Standards.
- Competent with Auto Cad/Revit
- Detailed construction knowledge of flashing, weep holes, drainage design
- Experience with remediation design.
- Compiling of project specifications, product selection, and construction methodologies
- Compiling design documents
- Interpreting architectural, landscape, civil, and other discipline designs
- Review design for compliance with Codes and Standards
- Attending site to co-ordinate destructive investigations and remediation works.
- Develop budgets costs for the designed scope of works
- Review designs and assesses static and dynamic loads
- Review as-built construction methods for compliance with codes and standards
