Our client is a well known and highly respected construction company specialising in commercial and residential building. We have been experiencing steady growth over the last 12 months and are now looking for a Site Manager to join our close knit team.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Provide supervision of staff and subcontractors on site
• Set out
• Interpreting plans
• Quality control of other trades' work
• Liaising with, booking and organising subcontractors
• Adhering to WHS / Environmental requirements
• Material take off
• Fortnightly programming of projects
• Progress reporting to Project Manager and Construction Manager
• Other duties as required

Ideally you will have a trade background with at least 7 years' industry experience (post apprenticeship). You will also:

• Have at least 4 years' experience in a site supervisor / manager role
• Demonstrate previous experience in the delivery of Govt projects or similar
• Good working knowledge of WHS requirements
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to lead across more than one site
• Broad industry knowledge across trades
• Good technical knowledge across trades
• Residential / housing experience
• Experience using Microsoft Outlook, Project and Excel
• Be able to think on your feet and adapt to change when necessary
