JOB DESCRIPTION

Labourpower Trade are looking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter to be available for casual ongoing work in Villawood.

Our client is the leader in plastic & steel packaging. This is a day shift role however would have to be flexible to cover afternoon shift if required.

To be suitable for this position you must have the following skills and experience:

  • Maintenance Fitter Trade Qualification
  • A minimum 5 years experience as a Maintenance Fitter
  • A minimum of 3 years experience within the Plastics & Steel Manufacturing Industry

  • CNC experience

  • Welding experience
  • Forklift license Required
  • Polymers, resin Injection & blow moulding DESIRABLE
  • Safety conscious attitude
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Able to work autonomously

The suitable applicant will be responsible for:

  • Maintenance, repair and servicing of plant and equipment
  • Working on projects to optimise operational efficiency
  • Maintain service records
