Electrician - Service Technician

About the Role
WorkPac are seeking an experienced Service Technician. The Service Technician is responsible for ensuring the effective running of the rental branch projects and maintenance of rental fleet. The Service Technician is accountable for maintaining the highest level of fleet quality and availability. The Service Technician will also maintain the highest level of service to our customers whilst ensuring we receive the best possible returns on expenditure. All travel time will be paid and overtime will be offered.
Duties
The key focus of this position is to carry out the total maintenance needs of all Power and Compressed Air Products.
The Service Technician is accountable for maintaining the highest level of fleet quality and availability
The installation of Power, Compressed Air and Temperature Control equipment on site and associated services.
Servicing of all Power Products, Compressed Air equipment and TC fleet.
Minor overhauls (where possible or applicable within Australian Standards and company policy) Operation of forklift at branch.
Connecting generators / TC units for load testing, as qualified.
General yard cleanliness, safety and maintenance.
Delivery and pick up of equipment.
Booking in and refuelling of Rental Equipment.
Washing/cleaning and Ready for Rental of all equipment.
Coordinating with branch staff and the Branch Administrator ensuring the establishment and testing of rental fleet.
The Preparation and completion of service, job reports, time sheets and other reports in a timely and efficient manner as required by company procedure.
Ensuring compliance with electrical tagging and checking of rental fleet (if qualified).
Monitoring and ordering of fleet spares and consumables as required by the branch.
Requirements
A class or restricted electrical licence essential.
Current drivers license
Current forklift license
Travel is required to customer sites for repairs and services
Ability to communicate and develop relationships with customers
Time management and work planning desirable
