JOB DESCRIPTION

As one of Australia’s biggest surveying companies, we offer a wide range of projects working alongside Tier 1 clients. There’re opportunities to work on civil construction and mining projects, where you can travel across Victoria, other regional areas and occasionally locations across the world.

Land Surveys commits to working with the latest technology and equipment with increased usage of UAVs and land scanners. We also use the latest software such as 12D and Liscad, so this is an excellent opportunity to either upskill or potentially learn new surveying techniques.

With a strong presence in Victoria, we can offer more security than other companies and always look to plan ahead and identify new projects for our staff to work on.

Land Surveys is looking for Construction/Cadastral Surveyors with a minimum of three (3) years experience in Victoria, who have excellent communication skills with both fellow staff and clients. Must be able to take direction and also be able to work independently.

The main duties of the position are to carry out small and large scale work as directed. The work includes but is not limited to:

  • Construction Setouts (small to large scale projects)
  • Title Re-establishment Surveys
  • Feature and level surveys
  • Lease area surveys
  • Drafting of survey plans and plans of subdivision

Applicants must be proficient in the use of AutoCAD and Liscad software and previous experience with 12D with Leica equipment is preferred. Previous experience in carrying out 3D Point Cloud Surveys would be highly regarded but is not essential.

Candidates must hold a qualification in Surveying (degree or higher in a relevant qualification).

Working at Land Surveys, you will be provided with an excellent remuneration package, the very best surveying equipment, dedicated support and management teams. To see you succeed in your role you will receive continuous training and development to further your career.

At Land Surveys we believe that our people are our most valuable asset, and ensure the support, experiences and development that you receive is second to none. We build strong teams through highly skilled and competent people, that believe they are making a difference, and that is why we are the number one employer of survey personnel in Australia.

If you meet the above criteria and this opportunity interests you, apply today to join this premier national company and be a part of our ongoing success.

We will not be accepting candidates from third parties.
