In Vitro Technologies is an Australian owned and operated Medical Company seeking to recruit a Technical Service Field Engineer to maintain its growing business in Western Australia.
The role services Medical, Scientific and Educational facilities across the state.
This position will suit a Technical minded person that has a good mechanical and electrical aptitude with an eye for detail. A clinical background is preferred but not essential.
The primary role will be to Install and maintain disinfection and sterilising equipment as well as laboratory equipment throughout Western Australia.
The successful applicant will come from a service Engineering background and possess good technical skills.
Suitable Qualifications
- Electrical, Instrumentation, Electronics trade or Mechanical trades with Restricted Electrical Licence
- Aircraft Engineer / Marine Engineer
- Current WA drivers Licence
- Be able to attain a police check
- Be able to attain a working with children's check
- Obtain Relevant Vaccinations as required
- Permanent Australian Residency
- Experience with Hospital CSSD equipment - Instrument washers, sterilisers and Endoscope reprocessing.
- Electronics / mechanical equipment servicing
- Industrial, Control and Instrumentation experience
- Autoclave exposure
- Validation experience
- Steam, Hydraulic and Pneumatic knowledge
- Experience diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electromechanical, and/or electronic equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting and responding to customer concerns.
- Proven record of being reliable and accountable for all aspects of their job.
- Proficient level of computer skills including MS Word, Excel and Outlook.
- Excellent analytical, interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to communicate complex technical issues in an easy to understand manner.
- Resourceful, with the ability to work independently.
- Strong time management skills.
- Ability to adapt to changing circumstances.
- Decision-making, problem resolution and creative thinking skills
- Ability to multi-task activities with shifting priorities. Able to work productively in a pressurized environment.
