Description
FITTER REQUIRED
We are a privately owned manufacturing family business in St Marys.
We are renowned for creating outstanding products and services. Alongside exceptional customer service, we adhere to the strictest of quality standards.
We are currently seeking a fully qualified and experienced Maintenance Fitter to join our team. To manufacture new equipment, as well as perform maintenance on existing equipment. The position on offer will be casual with view to permanency.
Responsibilities will include:
Ongoing maintenance of presses & machinery
Design & assist in manufacturing of guarding & other production equipment
Trouble shooting and repair of production equipment
Manufacturing of jigs and fixtures, & prototypes
Key attributes include:
Trade qualified Fitter/machinist
Experience in a similar role within a manufacturing organization
Basic design & fabrication capability,
Experience using Mills & Lathes.
CAD & CNC experience a bonus
A willingness to learn and desire to progress within the company
Excellent communication skills
Excellent mechanical aptitude
Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects, and work effectively in a team environment.
Standard 38 hour week, with plenty of overtime available.
