Goldfields Toyota are seeking the services of an Automotive Electrician.

You will work on a predominantly Toyota Commercial Vehicle range and be involved with all things Electrical - diagnoses of electrical problems, air conditioning repairs, wiring issues etc.

You will need to possess the appropriate Automotive Electrical Qualifications and be experienced in a Workshop Environment.

Key Job Functions and Accountabilities

The Automotive Electrician carries out a range of duties relating to the electrical issues of vehicles, including;

• Providing expert advice in relation to current condition of vehicles
• Inspect all vehicles to detect damage and to verify the presence of accessories listed on the invoices such as radio, spotlights, etc.
• Reporting all necessary work, or repairs to service manager and record using in-house databases or reporting systems
• Install electrical accessories, if appropriate.
• Park new vehicles in assigned areas.
• Maintaining an up to date knowledge of all electrical issues and changes relating to dealer product range
• Maintaining a safe working environment through ensuring the correct operation of all tools and specialised equipment
• Ensuring the safe work practices of all Apprentice staff
• Test driving and conducting final assessments prior to the delivery or return of vehicles to guests
• Demonstrate behaviours that align with company policies, organisational values and The Toyota Way
• Contribute to building a positive team spirit
  Essential Skills / Qualifications / Experience

• Must possess industry level certificate to operate as an Auto Electrician in relevant state, territory or jurisdiction
• Developed knowledge of the automotive industry
• Ability to work productively in an autonomous environment
