The Maintenance Fitter is responsible for the performance of mechanical maintenance of plant and equipment, within company and legal guidelines, to ensure that our winery operates at maximum performance

Your duties will include the following:

• Perform work under instruction within trade qualification and competency
• Safely and effectively maintain a range of equipment
• Adhere to company work health and safety procedures
• Carry out all maintenance activities as directed
• Complete allocated tasks in a timely manner
• Report problems that may arise when performing work duties to the Maintenance Supervisor or Manager. This includes quality, safety and machine reliability or performance issues
• Ensuring a high quality of engineering on all mechanical tasks
• Ability to work shifts and weekends when required

Essential Qualifications/Skills:

• Trade certificate as a Maintenance Fitter 
• Forklift Licence, EWP and Drivers Licence preferred
• Working within Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
• Organisation & time management skills
• Communication skills
• Ability to complete allocated tasks in a timely manner
