Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, we’re seeking a permanent Maintenance Fitter to join the team, with responsibility for a broad range of mechanical servicing, maintenance, installations and upgrades of fixed and mobile plant and equipment.
This position will be based in Toowoomba and is 80% workshop based and 20% site based.
Specifically, you’ll be responsible for:
• Fault finding and repairs to mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Attending sites outside of normal hours (as directed) where equipment failure or breakdowns impact on immediate operations
• Preparing and submitting maintenance reports as requested
• Record keeping for compliance.
