Title: Fixed Plant Mechanical Technician

Work location: Solomon Ex Perth

Roster: 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off (Job Share)

This permanent full-time position on a 2 weeks on, 4 weeks off (50%) job share roster is available within the Maintenance Department of our Process Plant Facility. You will provide safe, effective and timely maintenance to achieve maximum availability.

Key accountabilities will include:

• High quality safety and continuous improvement practices
• Carry out planned and routine maintenance activities
• Diagnosing and fault finding
• Oversee contractor groups on modular and major plant shutdowns
• Use in SAP to raise notifications, close out work orders, time confirmations and cause codes
• Night shift work will be required
• Contribute to the teams level 1 information centre

Qualifications and skills required:

• Formal training and relevant trades qualifications with suitable experience
• EWP, working at heights and confined space training (desirable)
• Competency in processing plant maintenance of wet and dry plants
• Experience with all aspects of fixed plant maintenance i.e. screens, conveyors, pumps, crushers, classifiers, scrubbers and chutes
• Self-motivated and ability to work in a strong team environment
• Experience in computer-based maintenance systems - SAP (desirable)
