Job Description

Workfast are looking for experienced Wide Load Forklift Operators to work in a warehouse in Smithfield. The rate of pay is $29.50 per hour plus Super. This would suit someone who has done Ship and Dock yard work, moving heavy shipping containers etc as it is moving demountable buildings which are wide and heavy.

The job involves general Order Picking Forklift driving and warehouse & labouring duties; picking orders, unloading and loading trucks, site clean up etc. This job is a casual position with full time hours and potential for full time employment for the right candidate.

About you

Candidates must have at least 1 years experience operating Forklifts, and have experience working in a warehouse or yard. Any experience working with large heavy products is desirable. Workers must be fit and able to lift 20kg unaided and must have LF FORKLIFT LICENCE.

What you need

• Experience working as a Forklift Driver
• Experience working in a warehouse or yard
• MUST HAVE LF FORKLIFT LICENCE
• Willingness to learn on the job
• Own transport and drivers licence
• Be able to lift 20kg unaided

• Operating Forklifts with heavy and wide loads
• General warehouse duties
• Pick and packing orders
• General storeman and Yard Hand duties
• General labouring and site clean up
• Performing any duties required by the manager
