We are looking for an experienced High Reach Forklift Operator

Your new company

Our client is a unique and well-respected supplier of Steel and Timber to commercial construction clients. They are now looking to strengthen their Distribution Centre work force and add extremely ambitious and determined DC Warehouse Assistant to their team. This is a 3 month casual to Permanent position for strong candidates

Your new role

In your new role you will be expected to cover all aspects of Warehouse Work:

Responsibilities will include but not limited too:

• Heavy lifting of Timber
• Forklift Operating | High Reach
• Loading and unloading of containers via Forklift
• Relocation of stock around the Warehouse via Forklift and Manually
• Update booking sheet when we receive orders, allocations, amendments or cancellations
• Update delivery schedule
• Preparation of packing lists - Prep for containers and prep for dispatch
• Stock/Pallet configurations
• Conduct all activities with great OH&S practices

What you'll need to succeed

• Forklift license - LF
• All rounder Warehouse experience and used to being on your feet all day
• Be able to lift 20kg-28kg
• Must have great work ethic
• Must be used to heavy lifting
• Must be able to work autonomously
• Great communication skills, verbal and written
• Great OH&S values
• Good personality with a hands on approach - not afraid to try new tasks
