Karlka Recruiting Group has partnered with a Multi-National Company to engage an experienced Construction Manager to complete the installation and commissioning gas powered generators and associated infrastructure.

• Immediate casual contract until June 2021
• Multi-National Company
• Newcastle area
• Excellent casual hourly rate

Responsibilities:

• Maintenance of the site schedule.
• Supervision of workers on site.
• Management of site operations and facilities.
• Liaison with the customer and other staff at site
• Documentation and reporting of site progress/issues/vendor evaluation.
• Support the HSE manager in leading toolboxes and contractor discussions.
• Ensuring all staff and contractors abide by regulations and policies.
• Dispute resolution – site issues and breaches of policies
• Inventory and quality inspection of all delivered goods to site. Documented defect/damage reporting.
• Review of submitted documentation for validation the document is in line with the actual project deliverables.
• Quality reviews of the supplied and installed goods and services.

Desirable:

• Experience with site management requirements.
• Ability to influence and manage contractors to coordinate site works.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and plans for all work disciplines.
• Understanding of Quality Management Systems and preferred experience with project scheduling tools.
• Trade qualification
• Formal Project Management qualifications
• Current driver’s licence
• Construction OHS Induction (White Card)
• Level 2 First Aid or equivalent
• Telehandler Ticket
