Qualifications & experience

• Relevant Trade Certificate - Essential
• Current Driver's Licence
• White card
• Previous experience working for a Plant Hire company would be an advantage but not necessary
• Previous experience working for a Plant Sales company would be an advantage but not necessary
• Sales and customer service skills highly desirable as would be dealing directly with customers 
• Previous experience on a wide range of farm & construction plant 
• Must have own tools

Tasks & responsibilities

• Repair and service machines
• Complete pre hire inspections
• Maintain detailed records of each machine including any maintenance, inspections or repair services performed
• Perform trouble shooting and diagnostics procedures on machinery (including damage, warranty issues and general wear and tear) and decide on correct procedure of repair(workshop or onsite) in consultation with the manager
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times
• Effectively communicate with customers directly (sales and customer service)
• Book & manage hire requests by customers 
• Prepare machines for sale by performing pre-sale checklists
