We are looking for Qualified, Experienced Riggers for Gruyere Shut Down to carry out various areas of maintenance. Candidates must be available to work from the 26/02/2021 to the 04/03/2021.

Key responsibilities include:

• Align, level, and anchor machinery
• Attach loads to rigging and prepare them for moving, using hand and power tools
• Attach pulleys and blocks to fixed overhead structures
• Control movement of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces
• Signal or verbally direct workers engaged in hoisting and moving loads
• Test rigging to ensure safety and reliability
• Conform to and promote OHS and Safe Working Practices

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Candidates must be prepared to complete a pre-employment medical check and a drugs and alcohol test. Successful applicants must have rights to work in Australia and hold the following:

Compulsory

• Valid WA Driver’s License
• Gantry Crane Operator Experience
• Working at Heights (RIIWHS204D)
• Working in Confined Spaces (RIIWHS202D)
• Gas Testing Atmospheres (MSAPHOS217A)
• High Risk Work License - Rigging

Preferred

• Willing to work in TA roles if and when required
• Previous experience working within the mining industry
• High Risk Work License - Gantry Crane operation
