Trojan Recruitment is seeking a reliable Production Worker with a current Forklift Licence, to join our client’s team. Based in the Newcastle area, our client specialises in the manufacturing of raw material. The successful candidate must have their own reliable transport and be willing to work off a 2 week rotating roster.

D/S - 4am - 12pm
A/S - 12pm - 8pm
N/S - 8pm - 4am

The key duties and responsibilities will include:

• Maintain Production levels as per schedule
• Moving Products, both manually and with a forklift
• Weighing, measuring, counting of raw materials
• Monitoring the supply and quality of products
• Be committed, reliable with a demonstrated strong work ethic
• Heavy lifting up to 25kg

Essential Skills

• Proven food handling experience in a fast-paced environment
• HACCP or food-handling certificates (desirable)
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Outstanding communication skills (both written and verbal)
• Good computer skills
• A strong safety and quality focus
• Forklift Licence is essential (minim 2yrs experience on Counterbalance)
• Current Drivers’ licence and own reliable transport
