Excavator/Ancillary Operators - Karara

The Karara Open Pit Mine is located about 350kms north of Perth and 200kms east of Geraldton Western Australia and is the Mid West's largest new mining project.

We are seeking experienced Excavator/Ancillary Operators to work a 2:1 roster flying in and out from Perth. Reporting to the Mining Supervisor, you will directly contribute to the effectiveness of how MACA deliver on a major mining project.

To be successful in this role, you will possess:
  • 12+ months experience in an open pit environment
  • Experience with PC400 Excavator (Komatsu), PC1250 Excavator (Komatsu, RH200 (500t) Shovel and RH340B (560t) Terex Shovel
  • Highly motivated and the ability to work independently
  • Have a “Can Do” attitude to safety
  • Current WA MC licence
  • VOC's highly advantageous, but not compulsory
