JK's large client in Meredith are looking for a Maintenance Technician to join their ever changing organisation. This is an exciting time for Moorabool Valley Egg's as they are currently developing within their market and looking to grow their maintenance team with experienced and mechanically minded technicians.

Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, fault finding and repairs to the grading facility as well as the egg producing facility with a focus on improving and maximising production. You will draw from experience in the installation and operation of conveyors, compressors, gear motors, fans, pumps, feed systems, augers and manure systems. 

Key Skills

• High level of commitment to safety
• Welding / Fitter experience
• Highly developed communication skills, both verbally and written
• Understanding and knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics
• Natural problem solver with high levels of initiative
• Ability to work as part of a team
• General computer skills including word and excel
• Effective time management
• Attention to detail

A trade qualification or Welding experience is highly regarded, along with a valid forklift licence.
