We are currently seeking a Construction Planner/Scheduler for a permanent role with a leading international pipeline contractor for a project in WA. This company is at the forefront of the onshore pipeline construction industry with a strong of current and completed projects.

Role
As a construction planner/scheduler with this contractor, your key responsibilities will include:

• Develop summary and detailed schedule for the project
• Develop baseline schedule and monitor/analyse current schedule against established baseline
• Provides planning and conceptual sequencing expertise for the development of engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning and operational readiness activities including assignment of resources
• Identifies activities or sequences of activities that are material and critical to the project and business unit and effectively communicates these to the appropriate members of the project team
• Monitors critical path activities on a regular basis and provides update and analysis including possible mitigation efforts that must be undertaken to minimise impacts
• Develops planned progress curves and analyse monthly progress
• Validates ongoing implementation of functional planning and scheduling strategies to optimise the schedule in response to changing project conditions

Background
To secure this opportunity we are seeking a candidate with relevant tertiary qualifications and experience with a leading construction business on $100m+ projects. We are not looking to engage a contract candidate for this role, rather an individual with solid employment tenure in a similar role. In terms of software skills, P3 is a must.

Rewards
The successful candidate will receive a generous package including base salary and a daily site allowance. The role is available FIFO from Perth on a 28/9 Roster with all flights and accommodation included.
