The Role

Toll People are seeking an experienced Forklift/Freight Handler. The position is based out of our Tennyson depot the successful candidate will be unloading and loading freight and containers. Immediate start is available for the right candidate.

Key Responsibility

• Efficiently handle freight items manually
• Load and unloading of vehicle.
• Ensure that any Dangerous Goods to be loaded are segregated and restrained in order to comply with Dangerous Goods Code
• Complete paperwork as required by the depot.
• All freight should be scanned on return to depot on MDT.
• Weigh freight when necessary
• Report and Carry out equipment check and defects
• Perform any other duties that may be required by manager.

Skills & Experience

• Current Forklift (LF) license
• Experience manual handling freight.
• Flexibility, as every day will be different.
• Must have load restraint experience.
• Excellent customer service skills
• A good understanding of workplace health and safety regulations
