Your New Opportunity
An excellent full time, permanent career opportunity has arisen for an experienced Diesel Mechanic to join our team in Kalgoorlie on a five on, two off roster. Based on a 50 hour week, you will be carrying out servicing across our diverse range of premium brands and getting hands-on within a dynamic team environment. This is a workshop based role, and a Monday-Friday work schedule means this role is perfect for technicians looking to exit the life of long swings and big hours and enjoy a work life balance while still earning a competitive salary. Don't be put off by our diverse range of products, as we offer extensive product training to ensure our technicians have everything they need to succeed.
About the role
- Perform diagnostic, service and repair work on a range of product, notably MAN, Mercedes Benz, Detroit Diesel and MTU.
- Undertake and perform all appropriate pre-delivery tests and inspections to ensure client satisfaction.
- Be attentive and sensitive to customer requirements and needs by adopting and maintaining a diligent attitude to work practices.
- Complete tasks in a timely manner to a very high standard.
- Compile high quality job reports to facilitate clear provision of information to customers and our warranty department.
- Trade qualified Diesel Mechanic with experience in heavy duty on or off highway vehicles.
- Have a strong background maintaining, servicing and repairing trucks and heavy vehicles.
- Knowledge and experience in any of the following: MAN, Mercedes Benz, MTU or Detroit Diesel is desirable.
- Ability to work unsupervised and follow instructions.
- Team player who will adhere to and promote the Company's Values & Behaviours.
