The role

The role involves assembling packages, securing items, creating protective seals, and collaborating with the production team to ensure the timely distribution of products. Attention to detail will essential in ensuring customers receive high quality products delivered in a timely manner. This involves inspecting and checking, a QA process that prevents damaged goods during the manufacturing or packaging being expedited. In addition to a keen eye, packaging operators will need to be competent with an overhead crane and various forklifts (ticket required). To get fulfilment and succeed in this role you should have the following:

  • Experience in a factory environment
  • Worked with packaging equipment.
  • Experience using an overhead gantry crane 6.5t or similar (you do not need a license!)
  • A forklift license and some practical experience
  • Great attention to detail
  • Being able to read specifications, documentation, and customer orders.
  • Following detailed information & instructions, both verbal and paper/computer.
  • You will need to pass a Drug and Alcohol screen
