Our client is seeking 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th year carpentry and joinery apprentices for current work North and South of the river. This is an exciting opportunity for an apprentice seeking a comprehensive work and learning experience.
Mature aged applicants (over 21 years of age) are encouraged to apply.
About the role
This four-year apprenticeship involves on the job training combined with formal study with an accredited training provider. As a Carpentry and Joinery Apprentice you will assist qualified tradespeople in all areas of formwork, commercial construction, fixing and framework.
This will be a highly sought-after apprenticeship and successful candidates must possess the following minimum requirements:
Essential
- Have a can-do attitude, reliable and motivated to succeed
- Committed to a program of on the job learning and formal training
- Completed year 10
- Construction Industry White Card
- Strong safety awareness
- Australian Citizen, Permanent Resident or relevant right to work visa
- A Current WA Driver’s Licence
Candidates must be available through-out the recruitment process which will include:
- Aptitude testing
- Two rounds of interviews
- Passing a pre-employment screening questionnaire which includes drug & alcohol testing
