Due to continued success and growth, we are seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Drafting Officer (Timber, Steel & Concrete) to join our team in Kewdale.

Main Responsibilities:

• Closed Panel Timber Frame design engineering (walls, floors, roofs)
• Wind, gravity & seismic load calculations
• hsbCAD modelling of timber framed structures
• BIM coordination with steel, concrete & other structural elements
• AutoCAD drafting
• Computer aided manufacturing (CAM) file preparation (Weinmann)
• alphaCAM & inventor modelling (preferred)
• Product design drawing preparation
• Site installation planning & drawing
• Transport planning
• Production, transport & site install optimization & nesting (multiwalls)
• Ability to liaise with Project team, clients, architects & engineers
• Concrete, steel & other structural material engineering

Skills & Experience:

• At least 2 years hands on experience
• Closed panel hsbCAD modelling, documentation creation, CNC & CAM file creation
• Revit (desirable)
• Robot structural analysis (desirable)
• Ability to interpret & comply with the BCA & any relevant AS standards
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong experience & understanding of timber frame product design
• A Degree level or higher in (Civil, Structural or Timber Engineering)
• Proficient in Microsoft office suite
• Must be a team player, with a positive can-do attitude
• Ability to work under pressure
• Flexible & well organized
• Self-starter with the ability to use own initiative

Salary: $100,000 per year
