With over twenty years experience across NSW they offer robust and efficient construction delivery. Due to an increase in project workload there is an opportunity for an ambitious Safety Officer or Safety Coordinator or Safety Advisor in Western Sydney.

ABOUT THE POSITION

The primary function of this role is to support the project team on site and be a prominent source of guidance for contractors, the client and colleagues. You will get the opportunity to manage safety across a large commercial and residential projects up to the value of $250million. There is diversity in the role which ecompasses site and corporate liaison. KEY EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Risk identification & assessment, ensuring regulations are met
• Carry out health and safety audits and work- place inspections
• Steer the development and implementation of HSEQ standards that align with compliance and due diligence requirements
• Work closely with senior management to adhere to legislative requirements
• Promote best practice and a positive safety culture
• Implement system changes and improvements to demonstrate continuous improvement
• Experience dealing with Safework Australia
• Actively analysing Safety performance, reporting, system updates
• Maintaining the company Integrated Management System to an accredited level

QUALIFICATION / SALARY:

• Diploma in OHS or related field
• Experience in residential or commercial construction projects as a Safety officer, safety coordinator or safety advisor
• Impeccable verbal and written communication skills
• Citizenship or permanent resident visa is a must
• Current drivers licence & willing to travel to different sites
