Hardhat Limited is an enterprise B2B SaaS startup lead by a team of successful SaaS entrepreneurs and tech leaders. HardHat allows companies in the Construction, Engineering and Architecture industries to manage Health and Safety, Project Intelligence, Site operations & activities, Compliance and Client / Contractor relationships.


HardHat is a Salesforce AppExchange / ISV Partner delivering a unique solution into industries that are rife for digital transformation and we are growing our team on the east coast by hiring an ambitious new business sales executive. This role will break ground for HardHat in these industries and work closely with Sales, Business Development, Marketing and Product leadership.


You will will be awarded an attractive base salary and commission, giving you an opportunity to earn $200K+ OTE in your first full year.


Responsibilities

  • Help deliver new sales focused the Construction, Engineering and Architecture segment.
  • New business sales (whitespace), building pipeline and closing a well qualified business opportunities.
  • Take responsibility for prospect / customer relationship management strategies.
  • Follow a formal sales and business development process.
  • Identifying investment opportunities in prospects and clients to enhance the HardHat offerings
  • Identify potential consulting and technology partnerships
  • Work closely with Chief Revenue Officer, Demand Generation and Marketing teams to assist you in your business development efforts.
  • This is not an account management role, this is a new business sales role.


Requirements

  • 2 - 5 years of B2B sales experience with a new business focus on Construction, Engineering and Architecture sector
  • Experience selling into Mid-Market to Enterprise clients
  • Experiences in selling SaaS / Cloud based solutions.
  • Tertiary qualifications in Business, Construction, Engineering, Computer Science or related disciplines,
  • Experience in managing sales cycles.
  • Strong time management skills, highly organised and well-presented.
  • Highly driven, positive, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
  • Strong interpersonal, exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • Outstanding communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
  • Familiarity with data analysis, reporting, and CRM (Salesforce) experience.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong internal and external relationships.
  • A willingness to learn and be challenged in a very fast paced and highly dynamic environment.
  • Ability to work with multiple teams and stakeholders to drive successful sales.
  • Ability to build relationships at CxO levels.
  • Ability to operate remotely and in virtual teams.
