Your new company

Your new role

Your new role will see you reporting to directly to the Managing Director and managing all aspects of setting up and maintaining a new tablet pressing facility.

What you'll need to succeed in this position:

  • Qualified Fitter or Electrical Technician Qualification or Millwright Qualification
  • Ability to review and interpret engineering specifications, schematics, and blueprints to determine work procedures.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
  • A can-do attentive attitude, with excellent on the spot problem solving.
  • At least 10 years' demonstrated work experience as a Maintenance Fitter in a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience within a chemical environment is highly advantageous.
  • Looking for longevity in a permanent role, with career prospects.
  • Ability to lead a small manufacturing team and achieve set outputs.

Work Hours

  • You will need to be flexible with your work hours in the start-up phase.
  • Weekend work may be required in the first 12 months of the start-up phase.

Preferred technical skill set

  • Experience with fault finding and maintenance on a production line.
  • Experience with working on tablet presses within the dangerous goods environment.
  • Fault find and service pneumatic components.
  • Fault find and service hydraulic components.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent mathematical skills.
  • Tig and stick welding
