JOB DESCRIPTION

JDD Holdings Pty Ltd and their valued client are looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to start Immediately in the Hobart Area. We need a Person who loves challenges every day in a Plant operations space. Initially on a casual basis which may lead to permanent position for the right candidate. Due to nature of Plant operations, this role is on-site only.

Maintenance Fitter Skill set requirements:

  1. Welding
  2. Brazing
  3. Oiling/Grease
  4. General Maintenance
  5. Understanding of machines & safety
  6. Hydraulics
  7. Pneumatics
  8. Forklift License
  9. Preventative Maintenance
  10. Use of Power tools
  11. Lathe/Milling/Drilling/Cutting/Sand blasting machine etc.

Good to have but not must:

  1. Power pack, solenoids, valves, fault finding & Trouble shooting
  2. Basic Electrical knowledge
  3. Dismantling Machines & assembly
  4. Bearings, slides knowledge
  5. Water leak troubleshooting – Building related
  6. Dismantle/Assembly
  7. automotive/Forklift or Diesel
