Mine Site Construction Services (MSCS) is a long standing and respected Civil Construction, Earthmoving and Contracting Mining Services Provider. The company is built on three generations of family ownership and has in excess of forty years recognized industry experience. We deliver a safe, professional, competitive and proficient execution of services throughout a diverse range of industry disciplines.

The Mine Site Construction Services Profile:

  • We specialise in Mining, Civil Engineering, Earthmoving and Quarrying Services.
  • We operate throughout Australia with extensive operational and geographic experience.
  • We have successfully completed regional and remote contracts from Commonwealth, State and Local Government, Institutional Land Developers and Major Resource companies in the Mining Industry.

The roles

We have vacancies for Heavy Duty Mechanics who are interested in:

  • Perth workshop-based roles, or
  • Perth workshop-based roles with a requirement to perform field service work on remote sites from time to time. The positions requires candidates whom have been exposed to maintaining CAT and Komatsu equipment (Scraper experience advantageous). 

Your core responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Carry out troubleshooting and on the spot diagnostics.
  • Maintain and repair plant and equipment including:
    • Dozers – D6 - D11
    • Dump Truck – 740, plus Water Carts
    • Haulmax Side Tippers
    • Excavators – 30-85T
    • Graders 130 - 14H
    • Loader - 988H
    • Rollers
    • Scrapers 633, 637E
  • Comply with company plus client policy and procedures.

Suitable applicants will:

  • Hold a trade qualification certificate
  • Have extensive experience working on CAT mobile machinery.
  • Preferably have a nationally accredited certificate of competency
  • Hold a valid HR Drivers license.
  • Be able to work autonomously.
  • Display excellent communication skills and positive attitude.
  • Be able to successfully complete a Pre-Employment Medical and Drug & Alcohol Screening.
