Maintenance Fitter

Recruitment 24/7 currently has a vacancy for a Trade Qualified Maintenance Fitter working with one of our manufacturing clients based in Wacol.

This is an ongoing casual position working Monday to Friday from 6am - 2.30pm each day with the casual dayshift pay rate being $34.00hr for normal time hours worked.

The successful applicant will be highly motivated, results orientated, and have to meet the following minimum criteria:

* Trade Qualified Fitter and Turner

* Sound knowledge of effective problem solving skills including the ability to develop solutions, fault find, trouble shoot and implement continuous improvement

* Be pro-active, a team player, with the ability to work independently

* Previous experience working in a manufacturing facility

* MUST be able to pass a Drug and Alcohol Test prior to commencement of employment

To be considered for this position you MUST be fit and healthy and MUST be able to pass a pre-employment drug and alcohol test.

You must have or be willing to get the following PPE:

* -Hard hat

* -Safety glasses

* -Long sleeve high vis shirt

* -Safety glasses

* -Long work pants
