Truck Driver & Furniture Installation Required for ongoing work

Now that events are kicking off after COVID, we are looking to bring on several motivated and energetic individuals to drive MR trucks, set-up marquees, furniture and other hire equipment. 

• Casual roles available at Underwood warehouse
• Ability to work a Rotating Roster including outside business hours
• Ongoing work offered to the right applicant

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant must have a professional approach to their work, and:

• MR Truck Licence- 2 years driving experience minimum 
• Be passionate to deliver high-quality end results
• Be Reliable, Flexible, and Punctual
• Can think quickly with a strong initiative
• Will work independently with high efficiency
• Ready for Manual handling and lifting of heavy equipment
• Has a strict adherence to all WH&S regulations at all times
• Demonstrates company loyalty
• Has the ability to follow stringent procedures
• Has good communication skills both written and verbal

Experience Required:

• Open & MR Licence with Reliable transport
• Valid VISA and ability to work 2-5 days per week
• A National Criminal History check is required for this role

The following will be a great advantage to applicants:

• MR Truck License (or higher) with 2+ years driving experience
• Previous experience in the installation of exhibition stands and marquees
• First Aid & any other relevant certifications
• Forklift license & any other relevant certifications
• Experience using power tools & wood work
• Ability to work to strict deadlines in high-pressure environments

All applicants must be flexible and able to work when required – including weekends and, at times, around the clock and/or interstate.
