The Opportunity

We are seeking Expressions of Interest from proven and experienced Telecommunications Riggers, Technicians/Engineers and Supervisors to join our Communications Team within the Utilities business.

This role would be based in Adelaide across metro and outer metro locations. You and the team will have an active role in producing consistent, accurate and efficient construction outcomes in accordance with client requirements and expectations.

Staff members will be supplied with vehicle and equipment. Individual Subcontractors will be considered as well and would be required to supply own vehicle, tools and rigging equipment.

Telecommunications Riggers

You will be Responsible for

  • Installing and upgrading mobile telecommunications sites, antenna, steel works & feeder installation.

  • Decommissioning on existing sites.

  • Troubleshooting & Maintenance.

  • Greenfield & Rooftop site works.

What we need from you

  • Telecommunications Rigging Experience.

  • EWP ticket.

  • Working at Heights & Tower Rescue Training.

  • RF Awareness Training

  • Construction White Card, Rigging Certification and other rigging tickets required.

  • First Aid & CPR Certification.

  • Police Clearance.

  • Flexibility to travel around Regional area and interstate.

  • Fit to climb medical clearance.

  • Ability to work safely and in a drug and alcohol free environment.

  • Valid Australian driver license.

Telecommunications Technicians/Engineers/Supervisors

You will be Responsible for

  • Upgrades and Greenfields sites Installation, commission, upgrade, integrate which may include working at heights.

  • Maintenance of telecommunications vendor equipment including various testing of antennae / feeder line systems, install and commission optical fibre links, provide installations, moves, additions, changes, testing, fault analysis/diagnosis and the required appropriate corrective action.

  • Client HOP pack contribution via evidence of completion of works.

  • Strict adherence to HSE policies and be proactive and positive attitude to HSE on and off site.

What we need from you

  • Qualifications in associated works or trades will be highly regarded; especially electrical or telecommunication trades.

  • Construction White Card.

  • First Aid & CPR Certification.

  • Police Clearance.

  • Flexibility to travel around Regional area and interstate.

  • Ability to work safely and in a drug and alcohol free environment.

  • Valid Australian driver license.

  • Experience with Ericsson/Nokia equipment.

  • Install/Commission/Integration/Call Testing.
