Our client, who is an established food manufacturing company located in Kensington is seeking for an experienced Maintenance Fitter with a strong manufacturing background to join their team

What's on offer:

• Monday – Friday
• $57 p/h
• Dayshift 3:30pm – 11:30pm
• Kensington location – Relocating to Ravenhall
• Ongoing casual position with a view to permanency

Your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Identifying and Conducting machine maintenance
• Completing light electrical repairs
• Planning and purchasing of spare parts
• Fabrication- TIG welding
• Using the forklift - Counterbalance
• Will be working in a fast pace food manufacturing environment

 To be successful in this role you will possess the following:

• Minimum Certificate III in Mechanical Engineering
• Trade qualified Fitter with a background in plant maintenance, overhauls and repairs to machinery.
• Experience in minor fabrications and welding – TIG (preferred)
• Forklift Counterbalance experience
• Electrical Licenses an advantage
• Excellent mechanical aptitude required – Hydraulics, pneumatics and conveyor systems
• Flexible to work overtime
