Clermont Concrete specialises in batch concrete, precast concrete and all services associated with concreting. This includes formwork, machinery hire and surface preparation. We also operate a mobile batch plant and cement silo.

Our broad product range caters for the heavy industrial, commercial, mining, domestic and agricultural requirements of our diverse client base. We are currently recruiting for a qualified and experienced Diesel Mechanic

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• · Maintain, test and repair diesel engines, transmissions, brake systems and Hydraulic systems on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
• · Inspect brake systems, steering mechanisms, transmissions, engines, and other parts of vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment
• · Do routine maintenance, such as changing oil, checking batteries, and lubricating equipment and parts on Vehicles, and other heavy plant machinery/equipment .
• · Undertake inspections , assessments and maintenance on Vehicles and other heavy plant machinery/equipment

Skills and Abilities

• · Ideally have a minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Diesel Mechanic
• · A Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology /Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology or relevant

Salary range is $65,000 -$75,000 commensurate with experience
