WA Haulage Repairs is located in the heart of Kewdale. We are an expert repairer of side loader in Western Australia. We are Agents for Austlift tail lifts and docking equipment. We are currently recruiting for an experienced and qualified Diesel Mechanic to join our service Department.

The successful candidate will need to undertake and possess:

• To maintain, service and repair our fleet at our workshop
• Carry out a diverse range of mechanical repairs to all road transport equipment
• Diagnose and repair tail lift faults
• Carry out servicing to tail lifts and Dock levelling Equipment
• Repairs to driveline components, underbody, brakes, bearings and suspension
• Undertake inspections and assessments on vehicles as required and complete the relevant documentation
• Adherence to WHS
• Customer service and safety focus
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to gain relevant police and medical clearances
• Heavy vehicle experience -road transport Industry

Skills and attributes:

• Certificate III Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent qualification
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience
• Current MR or HR license
• Outstanding time management skills
• Ideally have experience with hydraulics, electrical and truck mounted crane, side lifters and tail lifts

Salary range is $70,000 - $80,000 commensurate with experience

Hours: fulltime
