About the Client:

Our client is an industry leading 3PL warehouse, specialising in fashion distribution and apparel solutions. Providing flexible shift options, excellent team culture and fabulous staff retention, working in this quick thinking, fast paced warehouse environment where there’s a great sense of camaraderie, and a team working towards the same goal.

The Role:

The positions involve using reach forklifts, working with apparel up to 15kg in weight, in a fast-paced and repetitive environment.

You will be provided with comprehensive training and support, job stability and tailored to be a valued member of the team.

Daily duties include mainly forklift operating, some despatch and staging orders, breakdown of inwards goods, RF Scanning, pallet jack operating and pallet wrapping.

Primary duties can include selecting products accurately, safely and efficiently to deliver to the retail stores around the North-West regions of Melbourne.

Initially employed on a casual basis, a weekly roster offering up to 38 hours per week + overtime (optional)

Shifts available (approximate finishing times below):

6am - 2:00pm

2:30pm - 10:30pm

Required skills & attributes:

  • Reach Forklift experience and valid forklift license 
  • RF Scanning experience is preferred 
  • Ideally have experience as a pick/packer or warehouse operator
  • Must be available 5 days a week for rostering purposes (D/S or A/S)
  • Flexible with finishing times to ensure order completion
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment
  • Pallet stacking, wrapping and palletising would be viewed upon favourably
  • Must be able to work unsupervised and use initiative
  • High focus on quality, accuracy and productivity
  • Own license and reliable transport is preferred
  • Previous experience within apparel or clothing warehouses are encouraged to apply
  • Demonstrated reliability, punctuality and commitment to work
